During the 2020 the EU remained the key trade partner for Ukraine with a share of 40,7% in our foreign trade (40,1% in 2019). According to the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the total volume of bilateral trade in goods and services had decreased by 9% and accounted for 48,1 bln USD.
Exports of goods and services to the EU had decreased by 9,4% and accounted for 21,9 bln USD. Imports of goods and services from the EU had decreased by 8,7% and accounted for 26,3 bln USD.
Ukraine – EU trade in goods
Total trade in goods between Ukraine and the EU had reached 42,1 bln USD during the 2020 – this is 8,1% less in 2019. Exports of goods to the EU decreased by 10,3% and accounted for 18,6 bln USD. Imports of goods from the EU decreased by 6,2% and accounted for 23,5 bln USD.

Total trade in services between Ukraine and the EU had reached 7,1 bln USD during the 2020 – this is 14% less than in 2019. Exports of services to the EU decreased by 4,8% and accounted for 4,3 bln USD. Imports of services from the EU decreased by 25% and accounted for 2,8 bln USD.
