Brussels held another round of Ukraine-EU political dialogue - on arms and export control

At the event the state and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU - in the field of non-proliferation and arms control were discussed. The parts exchanged views on the priorities of the EU and Ukraine in the sphere of export and arms control as well as on the arms embargo.
The sides also discussed prospects for signature and accession of third countries to the Agreement on trade in arms and exchanged information on the mechanisms of implementation of the Agreement.
It was agreed to continue consultations on these issues and to conduct another round of political dialogue on export controls in autumn 2013.
