Minister of Defence of Ukraine stressed the importance of the Ukraine-EU defence cooperation and expressed interest in extension of the military political Ukraine-EU dialog, particularly, in regular participation of the Defence Minister of Ukraine in EU sessions.

The Ukrainian party spoke about priorities of the Ukraine-EU defence cooperation, gave proposals on some cooperation activities related to cooperation with the European Defence Agency.

Claude-France Arnould stressed the EU interest in development of defence cooperation with Ukraine, especially, within the context of theUkraine’s European striving on the eve of the Vilnius Summit.

The European party highly praised the level of Ukraine-EU military cooperation, in particular, participation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces representatives in Atalanta counter-piracy operations.

During the talks, the parties have agreed to activate the consultations to sign an appropriate Administrative Agreement.
