Representative of Ukraine to the EU welcomes the decision by the European Union to convene at the request of the Ukrainian side the emergency meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on 3 March in Brussels.

He hopes that EU won’t limit itself to political calls and slogans but will demonstrate it determined reaction to unlawful actions of the Russian Federation. RF should clearly understand the consequences of violation of the international law.

Shall Russia continue to resort to illegal actions on Ukrainian territory, ignoring the position of the whole international community, Brussels should take the concrete measures of political, economic and humanitarian pressure on the Russian side.
