Representative of Ukraine to the European Union Kostiantyn Yelisieiev believes that the EU won’t abolishes its sanctions against the Russian Federation, until the central government of Ukraine restores control of all regions within the borders of Ukraine. K.Yelisieiev told that in the commentary to the TV channel "112 Ukraine".

He noted that in assessing the progress of the peace implementation the EU should be guided by the criterion of whether the Russian military is present on the territory of Ukraine, or not.

"We need to review the implementation of the peace plan not on the basis of illusions, but on the real criteria. Number one - a complete withdrawal of Russian troops and terrorists from the territory of Ukraine, the second - closing borders to stop supplies of weapons, technology, terrorists and mercenaries, and third - immediate release Ukrainian who are now in Russia and were arrested for political reasons, "- said K.Yelisieiev.

Head of Ukrainian diplomatic Mission to the EU, meanwhile, noted that for the complete abolition of sanctions introduced against Russia, won’t be sufficient to release the Donbas - Russia must also return the annexed Crimea.

"EU sanctions against the aggressor will be in force until the end of the illegal annexation of the Crimea", - said K. Yelisieiev.
