On 9-12 December the delegation of Ukrainian business visited EU institutions. The delegation, led by the President of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Anatoliy Kinakh, included representatives of leading business associations of Ukraine, the leadership of Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine, as well as individual entrepreneurs and exporters.

While in Brussels, the Ukrainian delegation held several meetings with representatives of the European institutions, including the Directorate General of the EC "Trade", with the heads of staff of the European Commissioner for Trade S.Malmström and for European Commissioner for ENP and Enlargement negotiations J.Hahn, of the Cabinet of the President European Parliament Martin Schulz, the leadership of the European Economic and Social Committee as well as with MEPs and representatives of European business.

In the framework of these events the EU side has been provided with the objective information on the economic and social consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine, discussed further ways of establishing effective cooperation between the European institutions and Ukrainian business associations as well as the possible forms of assistance to Ukrainian enterprises on the EU market.
