President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has held a phone conversation with President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

The parties have coordinated their positions on the peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donbas and agreed on the necessity of consistent steps on the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements. They have also emphasized the need for immediate and unconditional bilateral ceasefire and the adoption of further clear road map on the pullback of the heavy armament and troops from the delimitation line.

Petro Poroshenko has underlined the important role of Donald Tusk in consolidation of the EU's unity in support of Ukraine.

The interlocutors have also agreed on further interaction and close coordination of all steps in the international arena for the peaceful resolution of the situation in the Donbas.
