President Petro Poroshenko has held a meeting with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in Brussels.
The Head of State has informed on the results of negotiations in Minsk. In his turn, Jean-Claude Juncker has confirmed the readiness of the EU to provide humanitarian assistance to the people affected by the Donbas conflict. He has informed on the allocation of additional EUR 15 million for the given purpose.
In the course of the meeting, the Presidents have discussed the issue of macro-financial assistance for Ukraine and the prospects of increasing it. Petro Poroshenko and Jean-Claude Juncker have defined the top-priority tasks necessary for approving the decision on visa-free regime with Ukraine in the course of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga.
