Progress of Ukraine on the way to the EU is a key topic of President’s meeting with President of the European Commission

In Paris, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
The parties discussed Ukraine’s fulfillment of criteria necessary for the establishment of the visa-free regime with the EU, inter alia, progress in the implementation of anti-corruption reform.
The parties confirmed the irreversible character of an agreement on the establishment of deep and comprehensive free trade area between Ukraine and the EU starting from January 1, 2016. They also coordinated positions on the eve of the final round of ministerial trilateral consultations Ukraine-EC-Russia on the implementation of FTA that will be held on December 1 in Brussels.
Petro Poroshenko and Jean-Claude Juncker discussed the ways to enhance energy security of Ukraine as well.
