During the meeting, the Minister elaborated on the results, achieved by Ukraine in the framework of the four blocks of the Visa liberalization Action Plan, especially in the work carried out towards the establishment of anti-corruption bodies.

D. Avramopoulos praised the efforts taken by Kyiv and assured that their results will be duly taken into account by the European Commission.

The sides expressed confidence that demonstrated progress as well as continued active efforts would become the basis for recommendation on granting Ukraine a visa-free regime in the Report on the implementation of the Visa liberalization Action Plan, which is expected to be published on 15 December

During the meeting the sides also discussed the possibility of the visit of Commissioner D. Avramopoulos to Ukraine in the near future.
