The European Union recognizes the progress of reforms in Ukraine and the strengthening of the economy. This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini during her meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. "We observe that Ukraine has stronger government, stronger state management and, as a result, a stronger economy," - Federica Mogherini said. “We note macro-financial stabilization, banking sector reform, and changes in the pension system. We welcome the adoption of the budget and we consider it expedient to continue the pace of reforms”.
In this context, the parties agreed to focus the attention on the transformations in the energy sector, in particular the reform of Naftogaz of Ukraine, in the fiscal system, and in the management of state assets.
