On 25 February 2019, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels organized its fourth Brussels UkraineLab, which has become the platform for discussion and cooperation among all those who are interested in promoting European integration of Ukraine in the capital of Belgium.
Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze stated during her speech at the event: "Ukraine expects that the European Union, despite all the obstacles, will continue to give Ukraine a central place on its agenda, contribute to democratic transformation and fight against Russian aggression together ".
She also stressed that today the biggest challenges for Ukraine are the holding of free, fair and transparent presidential and parliamentary elections and the simultaneous implementation of European integration reforms and fight against Russian aggression.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Russian Federation seeks to establish its rules of the game on the European continent. But the silence and inaction of individual European politicians only make Russia more courageous, more provocative and, unfortunately, more effective. "The future of Europe can not be based on indecision and ambiguity. In this game there is no place for a strong, united Europe, as well as a democratic, independent Ukraine. President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, during a speech in the Ukrainian Parliament, said that "there is no fair Europe without independent Ukraine, there is no safe Europe without safe Ukraine," said Ivanna Klimpush-Tsintsadze.
