National reception on occasion of the 21st anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine was held in Brussels in a prestigious hall of Cercle Royal Gaulois on 6 September 2012.

Guests and friends of Ukraine were welcomed by Representative of Ukraine to the EU, Ambassador Kostiantyn Yelisieiev and Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium, Head of the Mission of Ukraine to the NATO Ihor Dolhov with spouses.

The reception was attended by officials of the European, Belgian and NATO institutions, representatives of the diplomatic corps, business, NGOs, media, and diaspora.

The celebration of the Independence of Ukraine was accompanied by a concert of classical and modern music performed by “Trio Harmony” of the Dnipropetrovsk Philharmony.
