On October 14, in Brussels, Representative of Ukraine to the EU Mykola Tochytskyi presented on behalf of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy the Order "For Merit" of the II degree to Head of the Delegation of the EU to Ukraine in 2016 – 2019 Hugues Mingarelli.

In accordance with the President's decree, Hugues Mingarelli was awarded for a significant personal contribution to strengthening Ukraine's international authority, development of interstate cooperation and fruitful public activity.

"This award is a recognition of Hugues Mingarelli’s personal long-term contribution to the development of the Ukraine-EU relations. Ukrainians are very grateful and sincerely appreciate your professional and dedicated work for the European future of our country," – underlined Mykola Tochytskyi.

Hugues Mingarelli expressed gratitude for the award and noted the significant potential of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in strengthening relations with the European Union.
