Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov held a working meeting with the European Parliament delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee.

The meeting was attended by the Chair of the Delegation Pekka Toveri, Standing Rapporteur on Ukraine Michael Gahler, MEP Thijs Reuten, and representative of the Delegation's Secretariat Alain Crespinet.

The parties discussed the development of the network of Unity Hubs as a systemic tool to support Ukrainian citizens in the EU. Particular attention was paid to the importance of supporting this initiative by key EU institutions.

In addition, Michael Gahler informed about the preparation of a report on Ukraine. The document is expected to be published in the near future.

The participants of the meeting also discussed the need to create a structured mechanism for the voluntary return of Ukrainians when the security situation allows. This includes counseling on return, support with housing and employment, recognition of skills and education, and coordination with EU institutions and governments.

Oleksiy Chernyshov thanked for the leadership and solidarity that the European Union continues to demonstrate towards Ukraine.
