On October 11 in Brussels, Designated Head of the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union Vsevolod Chentsov presented Letters of Credence to President of the European Council Charles Michel.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the priority areas for the Ukraine-EU cooperation and shared expectations from the twenty-third Ukraine-EU Summit to be held on October 12 in Kyiv.
“European integration is a choice of the Ukrainian people and a priority for our state. I am sincerely grateful for your personal leadership in making Ukraine-EU relations stronger”, - underlined during the conversation Vsevolod Chentsov.
President of the European Council positively noted the progress in the implementation of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement and expressed support for a comprehensive reform program in our country.
Charles Michel underscored that the EU is unwavering in its support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, is ready to strengthen cooperation within the Crimea Platform and in the sphere of energy security.
