On Tuesday, May 13, in Brussels the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and President of European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso signed Financing Agreement to conclude the country’s development deal.

The document envisages disbursement of financial aid from the European Union to Ukraine amounting EUR 355 million.

The Finance Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Shlapak and Vice President of the European Commission, EU Commissioner for Transport, acting EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro Siim Kallas signed a Memorandum of Understanding and A Loan Agreement on macro-financial assistance amounting EUR 1 billion by the EU to Ukraine.

As was reported the delegation of the Government of Ukraine is staying in Brussels where it has participated in the plenary session jointly with the delegation of the Board of the European Commission.
