On December, 8 Ambassador of Ukraine to the EU Kostiantyn Yelisieiev took part in the meeting of the European Parliament Delegation to Ukraine- EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee at the invitation of the Chairman of the Delegation Andrej Plenković.

"It is symbolic that the current session is on the eve of the 9 of December, which effectively becomes "the day of Ukraine" in the European Parliament, - said Kostiantyn Yelisieiev - Tomorrow will be another confirmation that the European Parliament is the place where the voice of truth about events in Ukraine sounds continuously and steadily, and we are extremely grateful to the European Parliament for this opportunity".

On this occasion, Representative of Ukraine to the EU invited the MEPs to participate actively in events on December, 9 in the European Parliament devoted to Ukraine, namely the conference "Ukraine as a test for European solidarity", opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Donbas: War and Peace" and watching the movie "Ukraine through fire. Film first: After the release".

During the meeting K.Yelisieiev informed the MEPs of the completion of the creation of a parliamentary coalition and Government and, in particular, the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on European integration. The participants as well exchanged views on developments in the eastern Ukraine.
