Petro Poroshenko and Donald Tusk have discussed the results of the EU Council's session at the level of Foreign Ministers held on December 15. They have also shared their views on the situation of Ukraine on the eve of the European Council's session that will be held in Brussels on December 18-19.

The parties have paid special attention to the possible increase of macro-financial assistance for Ukraine. The EU is considering the allocation of the third package of macro-financial assistance. The President has called on the EU to consider the possibility of increasing this assistance.

The President of the European Council has assured Ukraine of the EU's support and readiness to assist in overcoming the economic challenges.
