President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has held a meeting with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in Aachen.

Petro Poroshenko and Jean-Claude Juncker have discussed further joint steps aimed at full implementation of the Minsk agreements.

The parties have coordinated joint efforts on the eve of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga, particularly in the context of putting forward the perspective of visa-free regime with the EU for Ukrainians.

Jean-Claude Juncker has once again emphasized that the European Commission supported Ukraine on its track of reforms.

The Presidents have also discussed the prospects of economic cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union, particularly in energy issues. “We are interested in the EU’s investments in our energy sector,” the Ukrainian President emphasized.
