Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze held a meeting with the EU Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos.
A special attention was paid to the implementation of the Visa-free regime for the citizens of Ukraine.
During the meeting Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze confirmed that all the requirements set out in the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan have been fulfilled and underlined the importance of completion of negotiations and procedures in the EU for abolishing visas for Ukrainians.
Dimitris Avramopoulos in his turn commended the approval of the report and the draft law on visa-free travel for Ukraine by the profile European Parliament committee, expressing his full support of prompt introduction of visa-free regime.
The sides have also discussed judicial reform progress and the anticorruption legislation, namely functioning of the system of electronic declarations.
