President of Ukraine met with President of the European Council Donald Tusk

During a working visit to Brussels for participation in the High-level Conference on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership initiative, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with President of the European Council Donald Tusk.
The Head of State thanked the President of the European Council for his significant personal contribution to the development of relations between Ukraine and the European Union, and also highly appreciated the consistent support for Ukraine by the EU in countering Russian aggression and the implementation of the European integration course.
The President of Ukraine awarded Donald Tusk the Order of Yaroslav the Wise for his personal contribution to the development of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, significant achievements in protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Petro Poroshenko also congratulated Donald Tusk on winning the honorable award "Man of the Year" according to Gazeta Wyborcza.
