Ukraine's European integration is irreversible process, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy said during the meeting with EU Commissioner for Enlargement and ENP Š.Füle.

The meeting focused on the internal reforms in Ukraine as a catalyst for deepening the relations with the EU.

Topical issues of preparation of the Association agreement for the signature, prospects of visa free regime with the EU, and macrofinancial and sectoral assistance were also on the agenda of the meeting.

The parties had an exchange of views on internal political situation in Ukraine in particular in the context of upcoming parliamentary elections in Ukraine in October 2012. Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy assured that the leadership of Ukriane is set to make every effort to provide for a electoral process in compliance with democratic norms and standards.
