Application of the deep and comprehensive free trade area with the EU is a top priority of external economic policies of Ukraine.

It was stated by First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkoskiy at his meeting with EU Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht on 24 September 2012 in Brussels

The parties focused on prospects of signature of the Association agreement between Ukraine and the EU that would open a possibility for provisional application of the free trade area part.

Investment climate in Ukraine was discussed, in particularly in the context of launching Ukraine-EU business dialogue.
