Andri Goncharuk met with Commissioner for Enlargement and the ENP S.Füle and Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the European Council Zoltan Martinusz.

The counterparts discussed priorities of Ukraine-EU cooperation at the current stage, in particular in the context of finalization of the conclusion of the Association agreement and visa free dialogue.

Speaking about prospects of the Association agreement being concluded, A.Goncharuk noted that considering strategic importance of this agreement both for Ukraine and the EU the sides have to make every possible effort to its soonest initialing and signature by the end of the year.

President’s Adviser also informed his counterparts about pace of domestic reforms in Ukraine, especially those which are being carried out in the context of the European vector of our state.

A wide range of other issues of common interest was discussed during the meeting: internal political developments and economic situation in Ukraine and the EU, cooperation in the field of energy, international issues.
