Ukrainian delegation took part in the workshop «Green Economy in the Eastern Partnership countries after Rio + Conference» on 4 October 2012 in Brussels.

Participants of the workshop expressed an interest in joining the project on green economy in the EaP countries with financing of up to EUR 12 mln. First steps in its implementation shall be undertaken by the end of this year.

The expected results of the project are improving institutional capacity building in the EaP countries as far as sustainable policies of production and consumption are concerned, and improvement of legislative and regulatory framework at the national level.
