Ukrainian delegation was chaired by Director of the European Union Department of the MFA of Ukraine V.Chentsov.

The meeting started with the discussion with Commissioner Fuele about implementation of the Eastern Partnership initiatives in the framework of the renewed ENP. The Ukrainian delegation stressed on the importance of the prompt signature and beginning of the implementation of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, and called on the the participants from the Eastern Partnership and the EU to start well in advance preparations to Vilnius Eastern Partnership Summit in November 2013 in order to provide for its effectiveness .

During the discussion it was stressed upon the importance of providing European perspective to individual member states of the Eastern Partnership and on necessity to earmark sufficient financial resources in the EU budget 2014-2020 for the fulfillment of the Eastern Partnership initiatives.

Within thematic sessions the issues of business climate, trade and investments, freedom of movement and contacts between people were discussed.
