On October 28-29, during a visit to Brussels First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova presented to Ukraine's partners in the European Union and NATO the Crimean Platform, a new international initiative to promote the deoccupation of the peninsula.
"The goal is to intensify the Crimean agenda. The highest level of this platform is the summit, ” - said First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova in an interview for Krym.Realii.
First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine believes that discourse is important for the political and diplomatic return of Crimea. "There are different formats where the theme of Crimea sounds in one way or another. And it seems to me that Ukraine should be proactive in its position and form new initiatives, " added Emine Dzhaparova. She also stressed that the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people should play an important role in the new initiative.
