Cooperation on public procurement is an integral part of the DCFTA between Ukraine and the EU, aimed on gradual liberalization of market access on the basis of legal approximation.

Since 18.05.2016 Ukraine had also joined the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement, opening its public procurement market for the members of the agreement.
