During the meeting the parties discussed the issues related to environmental protection as well as  the fight against climate change. Special attention was paid to the possibility of cooperation in the field of civil protection.

Discussing energy and energy efficiency, the parties expressed a common view on the importance of cooperation for energy security, diversification of energy sources and the use of transit potential of Ukraine. Special attention was paid to the problems of nuclear safety.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on further cooperation in the field of transport and a combination of transport networks Ukraine and the EU. Special attention was paid to the negotiations on an agreement on a Common Ukraine - EU Aviation Area.

Sides discussed the issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in space industry.

Following the meeting of the Subcommittee noted the positive dynamics of cooperation in these areas and further supported the coordination of efforts for convergence of energy markets in Ukraine and the EU achieve common approaches to the issue of climate change, as well as cooperation in the transportation and aerospace industries.
